Probably. Edit: The problem with nimbus is that it must be attached before the damage is applied. Healing is often better for those of us who have trouble scheduling our draw order.
On reflection, I've realized that buying Throon's Quick Laser Shield from Randimar's last week has actually slowed down my completion of low-level adventures... because there are times I will delay killing a kobold or trog with normal-ish means just to spend more time attempt to bait it into attacking my character with Laser Block, with the hope of going on a Laser Cutdown rampage or the like.
Hmmm... I don't think 8 Volcano is enough if you're playing them at all: you need to play two in a round to catch most enemies. That's why I've bought the third copy, but I feel that's enough myself. The 4th staff should be devoted to move the enemies on lava Actually, I wanted a good boots with Lunging Bash for my The Lunginator-based warrior But I already have one, and my chances of building two such warriors are slim, so I guess I'll skip the boots. I like Arcane Shell, but not here. Wait for Korenchkin's Tactical Tunic or Robes Of White Wylla. You're absolutely right, but only if he doesn't need yellow tokens for something special like Korenchkin's Tactical Tunic. Staff of Embers saves you a yellow token for the smallest possible price - just downgrading one card of six. I've used it in the midrange SP scenarios where a number of yellow tokens is extremely limited. Who knows where you may need the yellow tokens in future?
Eeygonnic's Shield is probably the best tokenless shield in the game, so you should buy it. Captain Cedric's Boots are one of the best boots in the game, but I guess you can live without them, since there are many good Epic boots around, and even the rare Diamond Moccasins are very powerful. On the other hand, Quellic's Boots can't be easily replaced if you really need a good armor, especially for a wizard. Thus, you should buy Eeygonnic's Shield and Quellic's Boots if you can.
Bleneth's Frenzy Medallion for sure. Hand of Melvelous is pretty much on par with Wuuna's Vampiric Shroud so only if you want a stab vamp. For that you'll also need to pick up Bynzer's Black Spear and maybe Glasod's Dark Skull. Everything but Leomunk's Kickin' Boots is a defensible purchase. I've found that Energizing Move never seems to do enough to keep in hand so I never end up running it. If you're questioning whether or not you need a 4th Mordecai's Staff of Magma you don't need a 4th. All skippable. Staff of Embers is the one I'd consider the most but burning wizards see considerably less play than burst wizards. You could of course use Staff of Embers on a burst wizard but Blue Destruction and Searing Pain are superior options. Captain Cedric's Boots and Eeygonnic's Shield would be my picks. Underdog's Shield is a close enough substitute that I'd pass on the shield if you're short on gold but Captain Cedric's Boots are easily the best minor token Team Walk boots by a fairly big margin.
3 weeks nothing worthy from Randi and now a lot of options: Vibrant Pain - Insta-bought my 2nd copy Deadly, Deadly Staff - I will probably buy my 2nd copy (although not my highest priority) Flame Warper - I already own 4, so i will pass Wym´s Lavastaff - Already got 4 as well, so I think I will pass again Luke´s Iron Hand - Maybe I buy my 3rd copy Mokad´s Reeking Skull - Kind of special. Since I do not own it, I will buy it Axe Of The Titans - I pass The Tenderizer - An overcosted Troll´s Ire? I´ll pass...
Ok, how. Especially the Flame Warper. How long do you spend on this game? Not possibly more than me I'd buy: x3 x6 x4 x3
Pray to RNGesus I think I bought 3 Wym´s from Randi or Daily Deal and found one. Somehow the game wants me to play wizards and thus throws Flame Warpers at me... So far, I resisted and keep playing undemanding warriors and priests. If it makes you happier: I have not a single The Softener (which I really want...)
Yay, got my first ever Bleneth's Skull waiting in RR. 2nd Orb Of Eex would be nice for Death March, but I'm probably going to pass, since Halloween & AA #3 items are just around the corner.
I hope you have 10k.... I'll defer to more experienced players but in my opinion Reality Warper is the best AT item and the other 2 are obviously top tier.
...huh. Not too many items caught my eye in RR this week, but there's an opportunity for a second Skull Of Savage Iljin and a second Glowing Gland. A second skull might go well with my three copies of Blue Destruction... giving me another reason to migrate away from my ultra-conventional 2 Elf Warrior + 1 Human Priest build and experiment with a pair of buffed burst wizards. (Odd that I kept buying BDs, given that my wizard use is mostly in SP for firestorm or volcano... but I do use 'em if it's Barrels or Death March.) The Glowing Gland... not sure about. I don't have any Irradiator copies for really spamming Radioactive Spray, but I do have a couple of Crazed Hermit's Gizmo (IIRC) copies, a Kreevian Radcannon... I also have the Old Saint's Armor and Untouchable Plate for 2x Arrogant Armor on a divine (but no heavy armor w/ 2+ Arrogant Armor). Arrogant Armor doesn't play well with Savage Curse, obviously, unless it's being used on *enemies* to force them to discard. Maybe 2x rad priest + 1x control wizard to play keep-away.
I've had nothing to binge buy for about 3 weeks, so I was barely able to squeeze out the 10k Back to hunting for legend treasures...
My Randi brought me only Troll's Ire that I've refused to buy for having two Crazy Sal's Halberds. Thus, I've decided to buy chests and... see the results here: http://forums.cardhunter.com/threads/finally-a-new-set-opening-the-chests-like-a-crazy.7452/
I'm currently sitting on 10k gold, and Randimar seems pretty good. Any advice will be much appreciated. Skull Of Savage Iljin looks like a sure pick. Mazzaram's Mighty Mattock could be useful, Quick Jon's Axe has piqued my interest. On the Epic side a second Firehide Robes will fit nicely on my farming trio, while Blazing Shortsword seems just great.
This week i got: Barnum's Staff great but i don't play mages, maybe for a future build Bern's Untouchable Mail Fabrian's Shield Perfect Footwork Prillith's Robes Of Pain Xentoc's Maul Wlakwa's Boots good but is spending a major token for boots worth it?
