I think we can be civil about it and sort it out ourselves, if necessary, right @CT5 & @DupleX? We can just ask somebody in world chat randomize the map(s), if there isn't actual referee around. I'm going to record the match anyway, if we need to check / resolve loadouts or something afterwards.

I want to openly apologize for my part in today's match-
Not for missing it, I'd already indicated that was a possibility,
But for not making sure a referee was firmly in place, and that loadouts were clarified to the referee.

It seems the match completed successfully, however, so a job well done to those involved!
Though the private message I got to that effect fails to mention who won, so I guess having to wait to learn that is my punishment :X

Because of a big misplay of our team. As soon as you see the video you will see that. Whitesorcer missounted were the elf could move with the team move. In that spot the elf had to use the normal move and then they had to burn their team move. That would have won us the game very very easily, because their priest and warrior were immobile & dead and the elf, was immobile with just blocks. But we got punished very hard for that mistake in loosing the elf warrior. It was a noob misplay.

And in the end of course they had only a very low chance in winning the game with just one specific card, but well, they got as lucky as the last game.

 

We're suggesting 14th, 15th or 16th October 01:30 - 05:00 UTC for our finals match against 99 shouts of wow (@WhiteSorcerer, @Ewemax, @Obernoob).

 

5 am UTC is fine for me.

I think that's a bit too late for a start time for @Bioautomaton. Would 4:30 UTC work for you?

 

It is a little bit early and I wont be in no good mood as you can see in the above post I made that early. But it is possible.

 

I can start at 5 as long as we're prompt, I'll lose a little sleep to get things concluded in a timely fashion. I have more leeway on the Friday date (which is Thursday night for me)

 

To be fair, the reason we put ourselves in the position we we in at the end of that game was because we knew we had that specific longshot card.

But, I can honestly say that both of the matches we played against 99-WoW were the most enjoyable part of the tournament for me. Close is how I like it, and both of them were down-to-the-wire finishes. Some of the best Cardhunter I've played in a long time.
