I still think an elf skill of Death Meld, Vulnerable, Loner would make elf wizards more useful and fun to play.

 

I'm seeing some potential hilarity on Death March with Festering Guts, just because the map is so incredibly constrained. Of course, that was already randomly possible via radiation attacks, and Resistant Hide is likely a popular card for the wizards ready to fling illusory barriers and arcane bursts.

 

By the way, I'm surprised Gulo isn't at least thinking about trying Tasty, Tasty with AoA despite his preference for low-damage builds.

Well, Flax hasn't taken any muffins the last couple times I brought stuff over, so the only thing we have to worry about is me stuffing my mouth so full of pastries that I choke.

Just looking for another reason for me to get frustrated with the game, I see.

I'm already jealous of the people that can have a consistent build, day in day out. Now you want me to try to emulate the point and click 'I NEED MOAR DAMAGE SO I CAN FEEL LIKE I'VE DEVELOPED A STRATEGY!!!!' warrior and game genie hordes so prevalent in Cardhuntria with a staff inferior to most of their weapons or to anything from the Magus (blessed be her name)?

No thanks. I'll reach the same conclusions of the futility of three human wizard builds without traversing down this fruitless path.

 

Festering Guts has duration 3 though... most battles are what? 6 rounds? So it lasts for half of the game... I mean Elven Maneuvers is on for the same duration and it is practically forever.

 

Want to know the top 20 too...

The new items will only be available in the new event shop or we can buy it from normal shops/random chests?
and if only in event shop can we buy more that 1 of same item?

 

They'll be in the normal loot tables and shops, and also you'll be able to buy ONE of each from the Halloween store this month.

I understand the "disclaimer" but honestly I feel a bit hurt over the contests results. it feels a bit frustrating and I'd probably equate it to driving on the freeway. Following the speed limit and being safe, but someone passes you going 80mph and there's a police officer right there who doesn't pull the person over! Its frustrating in a way of like...why bother ? Again I get it that there's a "final word" clause. It's just frustrating is all. This won't deter me from playing the game, but I might not feel the need to do the contest anymore : /

 

Again no mention for my item. And this time around I loved my design. It was so so flavourful. But well, what can you do.

 

Oh sure, Flax is so charming, Flax's abs are the Tablets of Stone, I hope Flax's breath wafts anise and citrus over the name of my item. What am I, chopped liver?

 

Wellspring was the choice because of various reasons. I think there was only one good alternative, but currently I dont remember it.

I think ranged 5 melee is pretty rare.

 

Yeah, I was wondering about mine. It fits the theme perfectly (Walk, Small Pseudopod, Vulnerable), has an awesome name that rhymes (Ooze Shoes), and would be a great addition to handicap runs and other things without being imbalanced. Thought I'd get at least a mention or commentary. Oh well, what can you do...
