Can someone explain how dodge works? sometimes when they trigger dodge triggers they move and take damage, sometimes they move and take no damage.. and why cant you use attacks which have a move in them when halted? like lounging strike. you should be able to use it to attack and skip the move part?
If you can dodge out of the range of the attack than you avoid the attack with dodge. Some abilities which a big range you need to dodge out of LOS to avoid the attack all together. If you are halted, you cant move. Attacks which add a move usually involve footwork
Or as Jon explained it to me attack cards with a move are blue/red which means they are move/attack cards the halt mechanic stops you from playing move cards that is why it currently doesn't work. But feel free to voice your opinion if you think they should let you attack and not move every voice counts.
yeah thats what Im saying.. since you could use them and stand still you should be able to use them while halted
It's the advantage and disadvantage of a multicolor card. My white-red cards count for triggering Altruism... but count as attacks if I have to discard an attack card. My blue-greens get triggered when I search through my deck for block cards... but can't be played if I'm halted. I'm assuming my blue-reds can't be played to move if I've been Stunned (play only move cards) but haven't tested it yet.
I have a few stun cards tell me if you want to test this out in pvp as this is information that i think is good to have!
