Thoughts, opinions, skepitcs? Movie has been confirmed for World of Warcraft due out in 2015. Same time as Avengers 2, Justice league. Maybe not a prime time to release another movie based off a game that tend to suck. But stranger things have happened.

They've been talking about this for what, six years now? Can't say I'm excited by it, I won't be going to see it or anything. Been a long time since the IP interested me.

At least the director is interesting, hard to say where he'll go with the IP though - Sam Raimi was the only one colourful enough for me to imagine how the movie wouldl turn out. Duncan Jones is cool and all, but a wow movie from him? Confusing.

I cant see that movie being better as a live action then it would have been as full on cgi honestly so i think that decision is bad. Then again as cletus so accurately stated too little too late blizzard.

Well, depends on which major boss they do the movie on.

The most likely one would be Wrath of the Lich Kings, with the human + humanoid-form dragon vs the undeads (which are mostly humanoid in form)

If they're doing an original story though, I will feel like they're basically testing water for their future expansion which the movie will take place in.
And as such the movie will either be just a non-canon story (and may get a small quest line in the game for it) or a 2-3 hours long expansion trailer that cost money to view.

Sam Raimi would be the only director that would get me to even want to see a WoW movie, and it would be because it was another Raimi movie. At least it's not Uwe Boll, lol. That man excels at spinning gold into ****.
