That sounds like a mess to deal with, though. I'd rather just have higher difficulty content available for those that want to play it. Caverns of Chaos is currently shaping up to at least partially fill that niche for me, if only by its randomization of party and enemies. [Though I've some concerns over erratically built decks being in the party draws, here's hoping they favor a more balanced design :X] There's a lot of potential complications with adding extra difficulty modes to existing content [such as new players having difficulty finding co-op partners due to established players preferring only the better-rewarding difficulties], and it takes a fair deal of developer effort to implement, as well. Given that I'd much rather just tackle a challenge mode of some sort to begin with, I can't really say that idea sounds too compelling to me. :X Put another way- if you're REALLY having trouble with the game, you can just buy the EttSC expansion to get that free level 19 party earlier. If you're not having a challenge, you can look forward to a proper challenge mode. There doesn't seem to be any real NEED to implement new difficulty modes, especially at cost of the developer-time-investment that could be applied to new content, instead.
